Boulder Friends of Jazz
About Us
Boulder Friends of Jazz (BFJ) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization devoted to the preservation, promotion and the performance of traditional Dixieland jazz. Jam sessions are held from 1 to 4 pm on the first Sunday of each month except August, when the Member Picnic is held. Admission to the jam sessions is $14 for non-members, $8 for members, $2 for students, and $4 for a Gray Wolf. Participating musicians are admitted free. The jam sessions are open to all musicians who sign in at the door. Everyone doing so is guaranteed to play. Both musicians and non-musicians may look forward to great listening and a good dance floor.
